hi, i'm leo bancroft, this is my model scarlett, and today i'm going to show you a simple way of how to create the perfect vintage wave.the first step, and probably one of the most important, is to make sure that you've moussedthe hair from root to tips whilst it's damp. blast dry the hair, 100% dry, almost overdrying the hair before you actually attempt to curl it.before you apply the heat, at a distance,
How To Have Glowing Skin, spray the top and the underneath of the section.place the hair in and just wind the hair once, about an inch away from the roots. hold stilland horizontal for a few seconds before you start winding one more time. hold the entiresection for about 20 seconds and then unwind the hair to create the perfect wave and curl.what you're looking for is the hair to come
off the face.now, vintage curl, or a vintage wave, is actually all brushed into one, so it's really importantthat you get into the habit of doing each section identically. again on the top andunderneath and then the same principle again; hair is thicker here, finer here. you cansee now that when i come to comb this out, all this hair is going to gather into thesame curl. if you don't want to comb it, you can justshake them; so each section you do, you can just give the hair a shake and you can seeyou start to get the body, the volume. good. i'm going to repeat exactly the same thingon the other side. to create the ultimate vintage look, it'sall about combing the curl out and making
it all gather together to give it that realglamorous feel. just take a few curls at once and we comb the underneath of the sectionand we comb the hair forward, just using a wide-toothed comb rather than a brush, thehair will gather. don't be scared to comb, i'm hardly touching the hair, just allowingthe comb to gather it all together. the fringe, just comb the top, use your hands to mouldthe hair. if you want, at this stage you can apply some serums; if it's gone a little bitof frizzy, apply a little bit of serum on the ends. and then to finish, a bit of shinespray, always at a distance. and then my favourite trick, a bit of hairspray into the fingers, just to lose any of those flyaways. and a little trick to finish, where you see an indent, not where you hit the bump, you can just very
gently backcomb into these parts of the hair, just to give it a little bit of a lift. so take the whole section and just a little bitof a tease. and that's how you create the perfect vintagewave.
