hi, friends, it's katie, founder of beautyandtheboutique.com, and today i'm here to sharewith you my makeup artist tricks for applying bronzer. in this video, i'm gonnashare with you my two bronzers
Make Skin Glow, that i love to reach forin my makeup artistry kit, and then i'm gonna teach youhow you can wear your bronzer the professional way at home. i'm using this kabeauti brush
because it's densely packed at the base and light and fluffy at the top, meaning you get the bestnatural application of bronzer. get your brush, you're gonna swirl it in your bronzer, i'm using shade toffee, then you're gonna tap off any excess. and the reason you do this is because it's better tohave less on your brush
and apply less and thenbuild up the intensity as opposed to applying too much and then not knowing what to do with it. you're gonna start by smiling because you want to imagine that the sun is hitting the high points of your face and by smiling it helps highlight those high points of your face. so start on the cheeks.
so you wanna swirl and swoosh, swirl and swoosh. then the next high point of my face is around the kind of corners of my forehead. so round, circular motions from the centre to the top of my ear here. next up,
down the bridge of your nose, here. that's where the sun naturally hits. tip of your chin. if you want your skin toneto look really natural, my top tip is to apply a littlebit of bronzer to your neck. just a very slight wash, not too much at all. if you're wearing a topthat's slightly low cut, make sure you apply some onyour decolletage area, too. if you're wearing your hairup, or you have short hair,
be sure to apply a wash of bronzer just to the tips of your ears. and it's also a good ideato apply a swoosh of colour just to the nape of the neck, and what this is gonna do is just keep the colour looking seamless 360 degrees around your whole head. okay, my final tip for you with bronzer, and this could be somethingthat you haven't done before
but makes the world ofdifference to your complexion and that is to use your bronzer into the sockets of your eyes. the reason i recommend doing this is because it createsa more defined eye look in a really subtle, yet natural way. because by making thesockets just a touch darker it means your brow bone isgonna look just a touch lighter which in turn is gonna help create
a lifted look to your eyes. only thing you will need to do is use a different brush such as this one, a contour brush. tap into your colour, tap off. i'm gonna squeeze thisbrush to make it thinner, and then we're gonna use itlike a little windscreen wiper into the socket of my eyes.
the piece de resistance to having that beautiful, bronzed, contourlook into your eye socket is just to finish off with this clarify pencil in shade light. and all i'm simply gonna do is draw the pencil just underneath where my brow arch is and then i'm going toblend with my finger. and this is going to make mybrow bone look more lifted
which in turn is gonna make this bronzer look just a touch more defined which is gonna enhanceand define my eye shape. if you want to find out moreabout this little pencil and all that it can do for you, you can click the link above or below depending on where you'rewatching this video. i hope these tips are gonna help you really enjoy wearing bronzer
and not be scared of wearing bronzer because it can make suchan amazing difference to your complexion. thank you so much for watching and i shall see you soon in another video. bye!
