Juice For Skin Glow



dr. nick: dr. nick here with chef roman, andwe’re going to show you how to dramatically increase the amount of whole vegetables thatyou eat in your diet, and fresh fruit. one of the things that i discovered was makingbig, fabulous salads. big fabulous salads. okay, we’re going to make this incrediblesalad. we’re going to start with some really cool, chopped-up green lettuce. put this inthe bowl, will you? just grab it. it’s okay.

Juice For Skin Glow, and we’re going to take some raw japaneseyams, and just put a few little slices. japanese yams, i mean, these people are among the longestliving people in the world. so, we’re going to add some purple cauliflower here, put someof that in there, beautiful bok choy, just cut off the end there, and go ahead and putthe greens in there. we’re going to put


a little lime as we go, and definitely a good,generous amount of avocado and guacamole. chef roman: it looks so good! dr. nick: it’s gonna be so good chef roman.let’s put some mushrooms. want to put some mushrooms in there. yum, yum, yum, yum. let’sadd some heirloom tomatoes. you want to put the whole thing in there? okay, chef roman,this is organic sugar pea sprouts. okay, what do they taste like? thumbs up? thumbs down?what do you think? dr. nick: little bit strong in taste. okay,we’re going to have to save this salad. yellow peppers, really good for you; highin vitamin a, high in vitamin c. asparagus is always great and good for you. rich innatural protein, vitamins, and minerals, and


fiber, of course. one of the things i liketo do is buy these pre-chopped up cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and i’ve got somesprouts of broccoli as well. so, here we go. we’re going to put a whole bunch of thisin there. so this is going to be a really rich salad. napa cabbage. wow, this salad’sreally coming together now, i think. so we’re getting a little portobello mushrooms goingin there. more green and red lettuce. you’ve got this wonderful mix of greens and vegetables,and i think that you've got to have a really good salad dressing. i like galileo’s. chefroman is adding some humus. it’s jalapeã±o and garlic. wow. what’s that taste like.is it a little spicy? what do you think? is it good? thumbs up? thumbs down? thumbs neutral?


chef roman: honestly, it’s a little bitspicy but good. dr. nick: but good. okay. so lets be generouswith our salad dressing. here we go. get it all the way around. yum! taste it, chef roman.here, what do you think? thumbs up, dude! chef roman: spicy! dr. nick: spicy and flavorful! you want toadd some fermented kimchi. red butter lettuce, so well get that mixed in there. i have toadmit i have real passion for this particular salsa. herdez. and we’re going to put alittle of that. add some spiciness to it. i tend to lean toward spicy, but if you wantmore of a mild, that’s your choice. so let’s get this all mixed up. this wonderful saladgoing. i’m telling you, this is an amazing
