what's up guys it's griffin and welcome back to my channel. for today's video i'm going to be doing a valentine's day get ready with me. i just love makeup and i also recently got the modern
Glowing Skin Makeup, renaissance palette and i've been wanting to use it for valentine's day because literally look at all these pink and pretty like valentine's day-ish colors. i'm
going to show you guys how to get really blown out smoky valentine's look today so let's get started. first i'm going to use the stay matte primer from rimmel. i'm just going to take a little bit of this put it on the back of my hand and blend it out also if i'm like randomly talking during this video is because my friend alex is
sitting right here. sup sup. for those of you who have been watching my makeup videos lately you know that i've been loving the mixture of these three products. i basically take two pumps of born this way make an even amount of the tarte amazonian clay and then do two drops of the tacha oil. it literally creates the
most amazing foundation. like this is science right here guys. like i made my own foundation. i should. that would be so fun. alex have you ever made makeup videos? do i? yeah. have you ever? i made one, one time but i'm not a mac counter. so tonight i'm having a bunch of people were going to soul cycle west hollywood and we're all going to like ride together and it's
like how many of us are there 14? i mean clarissa said she couldn't go anymore she's not feeling well. yeah that's not something you want to be at if you don't feel well. no definitely not remember when i was like sick on that shoot that we were at and i was like dude i can't do it. yesterday i filmed a video called testing instagram hacks and one of them i tested was putting on makeup with
like one of those silicone sponges. you know how people have been doing it with like bra stickies? oh yeah. yeah i tried it. worst day of my life literally my makeup went on so gross. look how irritated my right eye is. did someone fart in your eye? so now i'm going to take whatever i have left on my hand and cover up any additional spots
that i like extra coverage on. now i'm going to do concealer because i literally hate waiting to do this step because it's kind of one of my favorite steps. so i'm just going to apply in a triangle under my eye on both eyes and then blend out with the beauty blender. i absolutely hate creasing so i already
have my laura mercier setting powder ready. i just poured a little extra into the lid so it is ready to go. i'm just going to blend it out and quickly set it. while this is baking i'm going to take the smashbox contour kit and take the contour color right here and just carve out my cheekbones. honestly contouring is
like a hit-or-miss like sometimes it can turn out good and then other times it's just like nope, today. while my face is still baking i'm taking the urban decay eyeshadow primer potion in the color original and applying it on both lids. this is literally like i've talked about this probably in almost every makeup video.
this is my go-to. i've never strayed away from it. ok so first we're going to go in with a transition shade and i'm going to take raw sienna and burnt orange and mix those together as my transition. so you also want to make sure to smoke it out underneath your eye just so that you have the entire effect. it's much
easier to do this all in one step than it is to do it separately so i suggest doing it all at once because you can go in and create finer lines later. so now with a more detailed brush i'm going to go in and take a mixture of regular and red ochre and apply that to my crease using the same shade i'm going to take it and put a little bit closer
on my bottom line's that smoked out but closer to the lash line so that the darker colors are more centered. now i'm taking only red and putting that on my lid to deepen the highlight i'm going back in with premier and applying that to my inner corner and on my brow bone. now i'm going to wipe off my setting powder with this
brush now using my anastasia dip brow pomade i'm going to fill in my eyebrows. i basically just take a little bit of this and get it all over the brush and then put it on the back of my hand and rub the extra product out of the brush. that way i have enough product to pick up on my hand later and i can also use a brush.
i pretty much start down here and make like a straight line into the brow. then i can move upwards but i don't go all the way towards the front of the brow yet. then what i do go back towards the front of the brow i kind of do it in an upward motion because the hair naturally grows upward right there. so this brow is
done and now i'm going to fill in this one. now i'm going to go in with a light amount of the tarte amazonian clay 12-hour blush in the color exposed. i've basically just pull the brush around a few times tap off excess. i'm gonna go apply my eyeliner and false lashes off-camera really quick but if you guys want an in-depth video about that let me
know in the comments below and i will definitely make one but i'm gonna go do that really quick and i'll see you guys in second. i decided against doing false lashes because i feel like i don't want this to look too dramatic. so i put on black eyeliner and i'm just going to take cyprus umber i don't know how to say that and put on my lower lashes just to make
everything a little bit darker. ok so now i'm going to apply some highlight my go-to highlight lately has been yougblow girl and i literally got this one for five dollars in santee alle.y alex knows how amazing this one is. it's so great tto take it a step further because you guys know i'm extra i'm taking the
anastasia glow kit and picking the color snow and applying it on top of it this is just like a white highlight me oh my god now i'm just going to apply some mascara. this one i feel like i've talked about this recently but this i literally started using this one i think this was the first mascara i used i just recently
came back to it and i don't know why i ever left it. it's actually incredible and it's super cheap so now i'm going to take the kylie lip kit in the color dolce k and then the lime crime diamond crusher and put it on the center of my lips after i'm done with this. ok now i'm taking lime times diamond crusher in the color lit and applying it
right here. so this is my valentines day look i hope you guys liked if you want another one let me know i can do another one with the modern roadblocks palette. i can do is different how if you guys want one on i can do a lighter look i can do a darker look let me know what you guys want to see below and i will definitely
do it. that's it for this week's video i hope you liked it if you did make sure to give it a big thumbs up and subscribe. also make sure to check out all my social medias i will have them linked down below and hopefully up to you guys later bye
